Lamp Post Villa is an elegant Victorian Townhouse offering en-suite B&B accommodation in the beautiful city of Bath. Located several minutes’ walk from Bath city centre, we cater for tourists and business people alike and aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
We have negotiated special discounts in many shops, cafe’s, eateries, and attractions throughout Bath, offered exclusively for our guests.
COVID-19 NOTE: Due to continued restrictions, and with the Health & Safety of all our Guests and Staff in mind, we will be providing Alcohol Hand Sanitizing Gel FREE, and have established regular Cleaning procedures. We must ask that all guests wear a mask whilst on premises (in all public areas), and maintain Social Distancing as much as is practically possible, respecting other guests and staff. Guests may not be admitted without masks. (Unfortunately, we do not supply masks.)
The friendliest B&B in Bath that comes with an optional breakfast. Just ten minutes walk from Bath’s main bus station / terminus and likewise ten minutes from Bath Spa train station. Situated several minutes’ flat walk into Bath city centre, with the Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park directly behind us.
Lamp Post Villa is able to offer limited car parking (or permits); please request when booking, as this will save you the worry and extra expense of parking your car on the street or finding expensive public car parks. Buses run regularly, in both directions, and stop outside of Lamp Post Villa.
All rooms are en-suite and decorated to a high standard. The beds have very comfortable orthopaedic mattresses ensuring a good night’s sleep. Free (fibre broadband) Wi-Fi is available to all guests. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in all rooms..

Bath is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the finest Georgian Spa town in Britain, boasting world renowned architecture and history. It is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world, offering a range of historical, cultural, recreational and sporting activities.
Bath has numerous museums, theatres and cinemas, a comedy store, restaurants ranging from the finest English, French, Italian, Indian, Thai, and Mediterranean dining, to good pub grub, cafés and bistros. Year-round events add to the excitement and grandeur of this magnificent city.
The river Avon runs through Bath offering scenic trips from Pulteney Bridge. The Avon and Kennet Canal is also a popular attraction offering river boat trips and holiday breaks.
